Terms of Service

1. About Shopivibe

Shopivibe (“Service”) connects to your Shopify store and runs the things you describe it should do — sending a message, keeping a count, adding a tag or a metafield — written in your own words rather than in code. Shopivibe also includes an app builder, which turns a description into Shopify app code you can export and host. The app builder is closed for now: it takes no new projects, and where these terms mention it they apply to projects created before it closed. The Service is operated by Iisivuokra Oy (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Finland.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. The Service

With your store connected, Shopivibe:

• Receives your store's events from Shopify — orders, customers, products and inventory
• Turns what you describe into rules, using AI, and runs them
• Sends messages to your store's customers on your behalf, from the Shopivibe sender address
• Keeps counts, and writes back into your store — tags, stored facts, draft orders, redirects and unit costs automatically, inventory levels, the prices your customers pay and money-off codes for one named customer only once you have published that behaviour yourself, and payment captures or voids through the 24-hour lane. The full list is in the privacy policy, section 5.3.
• Acts at your checkout — a discount applied at the checkout, which lowers what a shopper pays for the basket in front of them, and a block on the checkout, which stops a shopper completing a purchase. These are not changes to your records: a shopper meets them directly, and nothing about that shopper is written down. Neither one starts in your store until you have published it yourself and your store has said yes to our asking, and this line is here so neither is a surprise when it does.
• Puts a request a person has to build into a 24-hour lane, where a member of our team reads what you wrote and sets it up

Shopivibe also used to provide an app builder. It was closed to new projects and has now been retired, and this paragraph is in the past tense for that reason. What it did:

• AI-assisted generation of Shopify application code based on your description
• Live preview of what was built
• Code export and a GitHub repository for each app
• Optional managed hosting and custom domain add-ons, billed monthly

If you had an app built this way, it is yours and it keeps running where it runs; the monthly hosting add-on is still billed and still cancellable in the same place. What is no longer available is building a new one, the preview and the code export.

4. What We Do in Your Store, and What You Decide

We act on your instruction. Shopivibe sends messages and writes into your store only because you described something that does so. You decide what the rules are and when they are published; we run them as described.

• Messages to your customers — The subject and body come from your rule. You are responsible for what they say and for your legal basis for sending them. We respect the marketing choice Shopify holds for each customer.
• A person may read your request — Anything you type into the request box can be read by a member of our team in order to build it. Do not put anything there that should not be read.
• Your customers' data — For that data you are the controller and we are your processor. The terms are in the Data Processing Agreement.

5. Your Responsibility for Apps You Build

This section applies if you use the app builder. You are solely responsible for all applications you build using Shopivibe. This includes but is not limited to:

• Functionality — You must test and verify that your app works correctly before deploying it to production or making it available to end users.
• Security — You are responsible for reviewing and securing the code. While Shopivibe uses validated primitives and follows Shopify best practices, AI-generated code may contain errors or vulnerabilities.
• Compliance — You must ensure your app complies with applicable laws, regulations, Shopify's terms of service, and Shopify App Store requirements.
• Data handling — You are responsible for how your app collects, stores, and processes end-user data.
• Maintenance — You are responsible for maintaining, updating, and supporting your deployed applications.

Shopivibe is a tool that assists in app creation. It is not a substitute for proper testing, code review, and quality assurance.

6. No Warranty

The Service and everything it produces are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• A rule will do exactly what you had in mind when you described it
• Every message a rule produces will be delivered
• A request in the 24-hour lane will be working in your store inside 24 hours
• Code produced by the app builder will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose
• An app you build will pass Shopify App Store review
• The Service will be uninterrupted or available at all times
• AI-generated output will be accurate or complete

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iisivuokra Oy's total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption arising from:

• Use or inability to use the Service
• A rule that did not fire, fired late, or did something other than what you intended
• Messages sent to your store's customers by a rule you published
• Errors or vulnerabilities in code produced by the app builder
• Actions taken by end users of applications you built
• Third-party service outages (Shopify, Railway, Stripe, Resend, Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub)

8. Ownership

Your store's data is yours, and so are the rules you write. Ask us for a copy at any time — under Support in Shopivibe, or at the address at the end of these terms — and we send you a file. What that file covers, so it is not a surprise: your account, your billing and credit history, your support messages, your referrals, your app builder projects with their chats, and the store-connected side — the rules you wrote, what they did and the messages they sent. Your own customers' records are counted rather than listed; ask us if you need those rows themselves.

You own the code the app builder produces for your projects. You may use, modify, distribute, and commercially exploit it without restriction. We retain no ownership rights over applications you build.

The Shopivibe platform, its underlying technology, primitives, documentation index, and AI systems remain the intellectual property of Iisivuokra Oy.

9. Billing

Shopivibe is charged through Shopify, on your own Shopify bill. Nothing can be charged until you have approved a monthly limit on Shopify's own page, and that limit is yours: you set it and you can change it whenever you like. We never see your card details.

• Credits — Every account starts with 3,500 free credits, and free credits last 14 days from the day we give them to you. Credits you have paid for do not expire.
• What the credits after those cost — There is no monthly fee today. Credits used past the free ones cost $0.06 each and appear on your Shopify bill as usage. Before every charge we ask Shopify how much of your limit is left, and we never go past it. If the limit is full, what you have already asked for is still yours and still works — it is the next request that waits until you raise the limit.
• Early access — While the store-connected service is in early access, we grant design partners credits at no charge and do not bill for it. If that changes, we will tell you before it does.
• The app builder — Projects made before the app builder closed are the one part of Shopivibe that Stripe still bills: credits bought for them, and a managed hosting or custom domain add-on, which is a monthly subscription charged until you cancel it by writing to us. While the app builder is closed the add-ons are not sold; one you already have keeps running and is charged until you cancel it. Those charges go to the card on that account rather than to your Shopify bill.

10. Account Termination

You may cancel a hosting or domain add-on at any time, or close your whole account, by writing to us; closing the account cancels everything with it. Support is its own item in Shopivibe, inside your Shopify admin, and the address at the end of these terms works too. A cancelled hosting add-on stops keeping your app online straight away rather than at the end of the month, so time it for when you are ready.

The plan on your Shopify bill ends with the app. Remove Shopivibe from your store and Shopify stops it, so nothing more is charged from then on. Credits you had already used before that still appear on the bill for that month, because they were used.

If you uninstall Shopivibe from a store, Shopify instructs us 48 hours later to erase that store's data, and we do — including the rules you wrote. Uninstalling and reinstalling inside those 48 hours does not save them.

What Shopivibe already wrote into your store stays in your store. Tags a rule put on an order or a customer stay on those records and we do not take them off — once the app is gone we could not. The stored facts it writes stay too, in a group on your store's own records named after us that belongs to you rather than to us; section 12 of the privacy policy says what you can do with them. From the uninstall onwards nothing more is written into the store and no message goes out to your customers, including anything already queued.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or use the Service to send abusive or unlawful messages or to build malicious, illegal, or abusive applications.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
